Van Vuren Condo
I tackled this one while my snowbird clients were away for the winter....a three month complete remodel was well on its way. Taking down a bulkhead and wall in the kitchen helped us achieve our goal of an open concept space. Also, we added a new stone floor-to-ceiling fireplace. Then, we took a screened in porch and transformed it into a full four season room for year around enjoyment and followed that with opening up a staircase that was originally a knee wall. No stone was left unturned on this one and happy tears flowed when they walked through their brand new custom wood front door. I love making jaws drop!
Kitchen
Before the kitchen was crowded and hard to entertain in. Once I opened up the space, utilizing their wonderfully tall ceilings, we were able to achieve a more modern and open concept feel.
Sun Room
Before, this was a screened porch with a floor one step down from the rest of the house. We removed the slider and raised the floor to be level with the condo. With seamless flooring and open entrance the sunroom can be used all year.
Dining Room
The dining room felt small and closed in. We added a floor to ceiling stone fireplace giving the room openness and height. Switching to a round dining table which seats 8 when needed gives the family of 4 more room to roam when not entertaining.
