Postma Condo
This one hits close to home as it was my personal condo. A true Labor of Love was put into this home. I remodeled it, from the studs-in, as if I was never going to move again. Fortunately, I was able to make another client happy as it sold off-market. I take pride in this one, as I transformed it from an early 80's feel into a Manhattan-style condo, in the heart of Byron Center. Ultra modern, with clean lines, glass staircase and custom concrete fireplace. A total show stopper!
Kitchen
The 80's kitchen had a cramped feeling. We took out everything! Moved the plumbing and sink location for better workflow. Installed custom modern cabinets to the ceiling to make the space feel large and open. Quartz countertops and high end appliances tie in the modern aesthetic.
Living Room
The living room needed to be opened up. By removing the slider door and raising the floor we could connect the 4 season room to the living room. Doing so connected the living space with the environment. A concrete fireplace wall adds a dramatic look and more height.
Dining Area
All the oak trim was removed and modern trim, painted white, was added. The walls were painted a warm grey to give the dining area a sense of personal space from the connecting living room. Modern wood flooring and a contemporary light fixture tie the room to the rest of the house.
